Watercolor 40X55 cm  2022 Each of us has our own personality and world and when we are together with another person in a relationship we create a family. We are surrounded by nature, in our physical materialistic world and thus we have a house and things we use, we have sun and things that help us in our lives. I wanted to show the harmony of it all. How can it be for us? כל אחד מאיתנו יש לו את האישיות והעולם שלו וכשאנחנו ביחד עם אדם אחר בזוגיות   אנחנו יוצרים משפחה. אנו מוקפים בטבע, בעולמנו החומרני הפיזי וכך יש לנו בית ודברים בהם אנו משתמשים, יש לנו שמש ודברים שעוזרים לנו בחיינו. רציתי להראות את ההרמוניה של כל זה. איך זה יכול להיות עבורנו.

  In my early twenties I moved to Tel Aviv. I didn't have a permanent job. But I had a lot of time to walk around near the Carmel market where I lived in a run down apartment as well as in the parks that were scattered in the area, where I found different types of people that I found interesting. I did the drawing  in 1981. I have many human drawings  from that time.   בשנות העשרים המוקדמות שלי עברתי לתל אביב. לא היתה לי עבודה קבועה. אבל היה לי הרבה זמן להסתובב ליד שוק הכרמל שם גרתי בדירה מוזנחת וכן בפארקים שהיו מפוזרים באזור, שם מצאתי לעתים מזומנות אנשים מסוגים שונים שמצאתי שהם מעניינים לרשום אותם. את הרישום הזה עשיתי ב1981 בפחם סינגווין . מאותה תקופה יש לי רישומים רבים .

  Over the years I discovered that I really like to work with watercolors. It is very connected to the way I see things aesthetically. I love the lightness of the color placement and the randomness required to create an unplanned painting. It requires a certain state of mind. Willingness to give up accuracy, willingness not to know how the painting will look at the end and make the painting process open to different ideas during the painting itself. This watercolor is of Kerem Maharel in northern Israel close to the sea, a valley that I particularly like. לאורך השנים גיליתי שאני מאד אוהב לצייר עם צבעי מים . זה מאד מתחבר לי לאופן בו אני רואה את הדברים מבחינה אסתטית. אני אוהב את הקלילות שבהנחת הצבע והאקראיות הנדרשת על מנת ליצור ציור שאינו מתוכנן. זה דורש state of mind מסויים. מוכנות לוותר על דיוק, נכונות לא לדעת איך יראה הציור בסוף ולהפוך את תהליך הציור לפתוח לרעיונות שונים במהלך הציור עצמו . האקוורל הזה הוא של כרם מהרל בצפון ישראל קרוב לים, עמק שאני אוהב במיוחד.

    A small painting in watercolors on 300 g cold-pressed cotton paper, depicting an urban landscape in the city Hod Hasharon. which I see from my large balcony on the seventh floor. A view that always has cranes and buildings even if from a distance. A view I see early in the morning and in the evening at sunset, when the colors change according to the weather ציור קטן בצבעי מים   על נייר כותנה 300 גר' כבישה קרה, מתאר נוף עירוני בעיר שלי הוד השרון. שאני רואה מהמרפסת הגדולה שלי בקומה השביעית. נוף שתמיד יש בו מנופים ובניה גם אם מרחוק. נוף שאני רואה בבוקר מוקדם ובערב בעת השקיעה, כשהצבעים משתנים בהתאם למזג האוויר.

 Ink drawing with an ink brush where I wanted to describe the joy of creation that I feel when I create and in general when people create. Creation requires a spirit of play, the desire to do things that are neither useful nor serious but joyful and beautiful. Art also sometimes has heavy messages, but when you create, you should have a spirit of play.   רישום דיו במכחול דיו שבו רציתי לתאר את חדוות היצירה שאני חש כשאני יוצר ובכלל כשאנשים יוצרים . יצירה דורשת רוח משחק, הרצון לעשות דברים לא שימושיים ולא רציניים אלא משמחים , ויפים . באמנות יש גם מסרים כבדים לעתים אבל כשאתה יוצר רצוי שתהיה לך רוח של משחק .
