the three captives, ink on paper 35X50 cm ths ink drawing i made while watching on Tv three men , between 34 years old to 60 years old coming back from captivity of Hamas one year and a half after kidnapping them and holding them in tunnels with no light and starvation conditions coming home like prisoners so thin and weak and that reminded me of concentration camps. one of them lost his wife as she was murdered , the other lost his wife and 2 kids. the lucky one had waiting for hims his wife and 3 doughters,.
Field . ink and watercolor painting 35X50 cm on paper fields allways intersted me. mostly we look at fields from a distance, we love to see them as part of a landscape view. it is an external view that fixate our idea about the beauty of fields. they have structure and color. but when we examine field from within it take a whole new turn of how things looks like. a view point can have a power of its own when you change positions to look from at something. it reveal so many new things.

האפקט שיצרת. משטח הציור הלבן, אני יושב מולו ואין בו דבר. הוא מדמה את הריק. אני מניע את היד, אני יוצר מאמץ, משתמש במכחול או פחם, עולה לי רעיון בדמיון לעתים שלם ולעתים בצורת אנרגיה לא מוגדרת, זו אנרגיה העוברת למשטח. נוצר אפקט על הנייר. צורות כלשהן , צבעים, שחור, לבן, והאפקט לאחר שנוצר הוא כבר לא שלי. הוא כבר קיים על המשטח בזכות עצמו. הוא מתקיים בעולם המציאות שהוא העולם של כולם. אולי מישהוא יבוא ויראה אותו, אולי אעלה אותו ברשת החברתית, ומי שיראה את היצירה יזכור אותה לפחות לזמן קצר, אפשר יביע רגש כלפיה. זה כבר בשדה משחק שלא נמצא אצלי. היצירה בעת שהיא מתחוללת מוציאה אנרגיה אל משטח הציור. אנרגיה שלי. ההתרחשות היצירתית היא חד פעמית. כשהיא מסתיימת נעלמת היצירה. הזרמתי כמות גדולה של אנרגיה החוצה וכעת היא מזרימה אלי פנימה דרך החושים, תמונה, צליל או מגע. ...

This 40X55 cm painting i did on a paper with ink , and watercolor. The subject is "Sabers" in the Israeli landscape which is a common cactus on the roadsides in Israel. Next to them are olive and oak trees and other trees typical of our landscape with a blue sky which is a very significant element of the Israeli landscape. In the summer, the light we have is bright and bright for half a year and very hot, which affects the colors that reach our eyes. Ocher and brown, orange and yellow from the extreme dryness are also characteristic of this landscape. את הציור הזה עשיתי על נייר אקוורל עם דיו וצבעי מים. הנושא הינו "סברס" בנוף ישראלי שהוא קקטוס נפוץ בצידי הדרכים בישראל. לצידם עצי זית ואלון ועצים אחרים האופייניים לנוף שלנו עם כחול שמיים שהוא מרכיב משמעותי מאוד בנוף הישראלי. בקיץ האור שיש לנו בהיר ובוהק במשך חצי שנה ומאד חם מה שמשפיע על הצבעים המגיעים לעינינו . גם אוקר וחום, כתום וצהוב מהיובש הרב אופייני לנוף הזה.

When you create drawings as a tool of thought it aids a figurative conclusion. All our conclusions are combinations of previous thought. Creation requires a spirit of play, the desire to do things that are neither useful nor serious but joyful and beautiful. I sometimes wonder how energy that grabs me from such diverse sources can stimulate my imagination and how the imagination conjures up so many creations in such a short time. So many stories to tell, so many stories in this world we all experience. אני תוהה לפעמים כיצד אנרגיה התופסת אותי ממקורות מגוונים כל כך יכולה לעורר את הדמיון שלי ואיך הדמיון מעלה כל כך הרבה יצירות בזמן כל כך קצר. כל כך הרבה סיפורים לספר, כל כך הרבה סיפורים בעולם הזה שכולנו חווים.

In the last few weeks I listened to and saw a film about a generation of the great Jewish violinists that ended with the death of the last violanist Yehudi Menuhin. With his death, and after Oistrach, Stern, Heifetz and other prodigies who did not fulfill themselves for various reasons, the generation of great violinists ended. We have great violinists like Perlman and Mintz and many good ones but these were the first giants, the violin always attracted me thanks to its unique shape and elegance, the bow and how it is held by the violinist, the special sound and the expression of the soul.
