In memory of my grandmother Paula Dinstag , a Berlin Jew taken from platform 17 to Auschwitz, when she was 63 years old, sent in a cattle car for days, stripped of her clothes and sent naked to the gas chambers . Her son, my father, fled from Germany in 1939 to Palestina. made a family and had a doctorate in Jewish history later.
