  A woman without a shadow. In memory of my grandmother Paula Dinstag , a Berlin Jew  taken from platform 17 to Auschwitz, when she was 63 years old, sent in a cattle car for days, stripped of her clothes and sent naked to the gas chambers . Her son, my father,  fled from Germany in 1939 to Palestina. made  a family and had a doctorate in Jewish history later. This brush and ink drawing was made on Holocaust Remembrance Day for her memory .  אישה ללא צל. לזכרה של סבתי פולה דינסטאג, היא הייתה יהודייה ברלינאית ונלקחה מרציף   17 לאושוויץ, כשהייתה בת 63, נשלחה בקרון בקר במשך ימים, הופשטה מבגדיה ונשלחה עירומה למות בגז. בנה, אבי ברח מגרמניה בשנת 1939 לפלשתינה. הקים משפחה והיה בעל דוקטורט בהיסטוריה יהודית מאוחר יותר. רישום מכחול זה בדיו נעשה   ביום הזיכרון לשואה.
