An artist stands in every generation between the past and the future. So is art. Many of the forms and styles we see in museums are from artists and art movements of the past, many of which become a part of us so deeply because we have seen them from childhood to adulthood time and time again. They were adopted by our parents, and our culture. We are influenced by them and they accompany our culture throughout the centuries. We can see that each generation of artists tries to shake up the old artistic conventions and invent new forms, new ways of describing the world around us, bringing new ideas as well as perspectives that were not there before. Future generations will grow and develop with their art, as part of the changing culture, and will want to invent new forms arising from new ideas. Artists always want to do what is required for their art and what seems right to them as part of the development of the society and culture in which they were born and raised, even if they do not receive the necessary approvals and recognition for this immediately. Many painters have gone this route. It is always difficult to predict and anticipate what kind of forms and style in art that will be invented by new artists will catch on and become an accepted and agreed upon style in society. It is mainly subject to the will of the public, although today this process has changed and is led more by commercial art establishments that create consent sometimes with the help of interests of promoting works for purposes other than hanging on the walls and enjoying. Artists should make their art not to beautify life but out of a real need to create. This is the only calculation that prevents self-falsification.

אמן עומד בכל דור בין העבר והעתיד. כך גם אמנות. הרבה מהצורות והסגנונות שאנו רואים במוזיאונים הן מאמנים וזרמי אמנות מהעבר, רבים מהם נהיים חלק מאיתנו באופן כה עמוק משום שראינו אותם בילדותנו עד בגרותינו  פעם אחרי פעם. הן אומצו על ידי הורינו, והתרבות שלנו . אנחנו מושפעים מהן והן מלוות את התרבות שלנו לאורך מאות בשנים. אנחנו יכולים לראות שכל דור של אמנים מנסה לזעזע את ההסכמות האמנותיות ההישנות ולהמציא צורות חדשות, דרכים חדשות לתאר את העולם סביבנו, להביא רעיונות חדשים וכן נקודות מבט שלא היו קודם לכן. הדורות הבאים יגדלו ויצמחו עם האמנות שלהם, כחלק מהתרבות המשתנה, וירצו להמציא צורות חדשות הנובעות מרעיונות חדשים. אמנים תמיד רוצים לעשות את הנדרש לאמנות שלהם ומה שנראה להם נכון כחלק מהתפתחות החברה והתרבות בה הם נולדו וגדלו גם אם הם לא יקבלו את ההסכמות הנדרשות וההכרה לכך באופן מיידי . ציירים רבים עברו את המסלול הזה.  תמיד קשה לנבא ולצפות איזה סוג צורות וסגנון באמנות שיומצא על ידי אמנים חדשים יתפוס ויהפוך לסגנון מקובל ומוסכם על החברה. זה נתון בעיקר לרצון הקהל , אם כי היום התהליך הזה השתנה והוא מובל יותר על ידי ממסדים אמנותיים מסחריים היוצרים הסכמה לעתים בעזרת אינטרסים של קידום יצירות למטרות אחרות מאשר תליה על הקירות והנאה. אמנים צריכים לעשות את האמנות שלהם לא על מנת ליפות את החיים אלא מתוך צורך אמיתי ליצור. זה החישוב היחיד המונע זיוף עצמי .
