    A small painting in watercolors on 300 g cold-pressed cotton paper, depicting an urban landscape in the city Hod Hasharon. which I see from my large balcony on the seventh floor. A view that always has cranes and buildings even if from a distance. A view I see early in the morning and in the evening at sunset, when the colors change according to the weather ציור קטן בצבעי מים   על נייר כותנה 300 גר' כבישה קרה, מתאר נוף עירוני בעיר שלי הוד השרון. שאני רואה מהמרפסת הגדולה שלי בקומה השביעית. נוף שתמיד יש בו מנופים ובניה גם אם מרחוק. נוף שאני רואה בבוקר מוקדם ובערב בעת השקיעה, כשהצבעים משתנים בהתאם למזג האוויר.

 Ink drawing with an ink brush where I wanted to describe the joy of creation that I feel when I create and in general when people create. Creation requires a spirit of play, the desire to do things that are neither useful nor serious but joyful and beautiful. Art also sometimes has heavy messages, but when you create, you should have a spirit of play.   רישום דיו במכחול דיו שבו רציתי לתאר את חדוות היצירה שאני חש כשאני יוצר ובכלל כשאנשים יוצרים . יצירה דורשת רוח משחק, הרצון לעשות דברים לא שימושיים ולא רציניים אלא משמחים , ויפים . באמנות יש גם מסרים כבדים לעתים אבל כשאתה יוצר רצוי שתהיה לך רוח של משחק .

    Watercolor i painted in 2021 29X39 cm on cotton cold press papar , a landscape Over the years I have painted many watercolors, I always like to take a step back and let my universe come in and intermingle between my impressions. I live in a very bright light area of the Middle East and I guess my impressions of the light were affected by that. In the end, everything mixes, reality and imagination and becomes one work. לאורך השנים ציירתי ציורים רבים בצבעי מים , אני תמיד אוהב לקחת צעד אחורה ולתת  ליקום שלי להיכנס ולהתערב בין הרשמים שלי. אני גר באזור אור בהיר מאוד של המזרח התיכון ואני מניח שהתרשמות שלי מהאור הושפעו מזה.    בסוף הכל מתערבב, מציאות ודימיון והופך ליצירה אחת.

  Ink drawing I did   in 2021 , part of large series of ink drawings. I sometimes wonder how  energy that grabs me from such diverse sources can stimulate my imagination and how the imagination conjures up so many creations in such a short time. So many stories to tell, so many stories in this world we all experience. אני תוהה לפעמים  כיצד  אנרגיה התופסת אותי ממקורות מגוונים כל כך יכולה לעורר את הדמיון שלי ואיך הדמיון מעלה כל כך הרבה יצירות בזמן כל כך קצר. כל כך הרבה סיפורים לספר, כל כך הרבה סיפורים בעולם הזה שכולנו חווים.

A woman with her baby in her arms. She breastfeeds him, he looks at her, she is his whole world, her eyes, face, hair, voice, a baby's first connection to the big world. He was only a few weeks ago in the womb. The dependence will show itself in the form. The lines of her head are inclined towards him. Her care and empathy, the gentle hold of her arms. Her neck and shoulders, he's in her world and for now that's all he needs. אישה עם תינוקה בזרועותיה. היא מניקה אותו בשדיה, הוא מביט בה, היא כל עולמו, עיניה, פניה, שיער, קולה, החיבור הראשון של תינוק לעולם הגדול. הוא היה רק לפני כמה שבועות ברחמה. התלות תראה את עצמה בצורה. קווי ראשה נוטים לעברו. האכפתיות והאמפתיה שלה, האחיזה העדינה של זרועותיה. הצוואר והכתפיים שלה, הוא בעולם שלה ולעת עתה זה כל מה שהוא צריך.

  A woman without a shadow. In memory of my grandmother Paula Dinstag , a Berlin Jew  taken from platform 17 to Auschwitz, when she was 63 years old, sent in a cattle car for days, stripped of her clothes and sent naked to the gas chambers . Her son, my father,  fled from Germany in 1939 to Palestina. made  a family and had a doctorate in Jewish history later. This brush and ink drawing was made on Holocaust Remembrance Day for her memory .  אישה ללא צל. לזכרה של סבתי פולה דינסטאג, היא הייתה יהודייה ברלינאית ונלקחה מרציף   17 לאושוויץ, כשהייתה בת 63, נשלחה בקרון בקר במשך ימים, הופשטה מבגדיה ונשלחה עירומה למות בגז. בנה, אבי ברח מגרמניה בשנת 1939 לפלשתינה. הקים משפחה והיה בעל דוקטורט בהיסטוריה יהודית מאוחר יותר. רישום מכחול זה בדיו נעשה   ביום הזיכרון לשואה.

  In the last few weeks I listened to and saw a film about a generation of the great Jewish violinists that ended with the death of the last violanist Yehudi Menuhin. With his death, and after Oistrach, Stern, Heifetz and other prodigies who did not fulfill themselves for various reasons, the generation of great violinists ended. We have great violinists like Perlman and Mintz and many good ones but these were the first giants, the violin always attracted me thanks to its unique shape and elegance, the bow and how it is held by the violinist, the special sound and the expression of the soul. An ink drawing I recently made of one of these violinists בשבועות האחרונים הקשבתי וראיתי סרט על הדור של גדולי הכנרים היהודים שהסתיים עם מותו של האחרון, יהודי מנוחין. במותו, ביחד עם אויסטרך, שטרן,  חפץ וילדי פלא אחרים שלא הגשימו את עצמם מסיבות שונות, הסתיים דור הכנרים הגדולים. יש לנו כנרים מעולים כמו פרלמן ומינץ ורבים טובים אבל אלה היו הענקים הראשונים, הכינור תמיד משך אותי בזכות הצורה והאלג...
